Thank you for your interest in being part of the upcoming GamePad Online Cosplay Showcase! We welcome cosplayers of all experience levels to showcase your creativity with the GamePad audience. So if you are working on a cosplay and want to share your cosplay build on our digital stage we’d love to see it, especially if it’s gaming related!
HOW THE SHOWCASE WORKS
Share Your Cosplay With The World!
We will need the following information from you when you make your submission:
– Your name, contact information, public profile information and details about your cosplay.
– Reference images of your cosplay (in case we’re not familiar with the character).
– Up to 5 photos of the finished cosplay build (costume and any props).
– Up to 5 work in progress photos.
– Up to 1 minute landscape video of the cosplay being worn. We advise you to record this in a well-lit space with clear background or minimal background distractions.
The Cosplay Showcase will prioritise video entries, but we will also feature entries where only photos are available as a slideshow. In either case, we will create at the showcase from the information you provide us with and broadcast this at GamePad Online on Saturday 10th July.
Please note: We’re a very small team at mayamada that often includes young people doing work experience with us. So to ensure we can include and properly promote your video during GamePad Online we need to have all video and relevant information sent to us as soon as possible.
Any Questions? Please contact gamepad@mayamada.com.

GUIDELINES
Things to remember
When preparing your costume, keep in mind that GamePad is a family-friendly event. Regardless of gender identification, no bare chests or buttocks please. We request that costume worn at the event have a PG rating so everyone can enjoy the day.
This means selecting underwear that is modest and gives full coverage of your chest, groin, and bottom. (i.e. no bare boobs or bum cheeks).
The illusion of nudity is still nudity. Flesh coloured garments must be easily identifiable as garments from 10 feet, or they are deemed prohibited.
Cosplay props & uniforms
Costumes replicating military, police or official law enforcement wear must be identifiable as a costume, and not seen as an impersonation as this is illegal.
If you intend to wear a uniform that appears realistic, you must distinguish that it is a costume. Costumes that could be mistaken for current military or law enforcement are prohibited, as are symbols of hate or emblems of genocide.
Please be respectful
We do not allow symbols of hate. Or actions of hate towards others. Hate, in general, is unwelcome at GamePad. We’ve all come together for a positive experience.
Cosplayers are welcome and should be made to feel welcome at GamePad regardless of how much of their costume is handmade
