Please note: Signups for GamePad competitions take place from 12.30pm on a first come first serve basis. You must be present for the tournament, so please arrive on time to avoid missing out. Check the list below for each individual tournament start time.
Here are the headline tournaments for the upcoming GamePad event:
SUPER SMASH BROS ULTIMATE
Compete on the brand new Super Smash Bros Ultimate with Nintendo Social Group. The tournament winner will win the steelbook edition of the game! Legendary game worlds and fighters collide in the ultimate showdown on the Nintendo Switch!
Tournament start time: 4pm
CRASH TEAM RACING
Ladies, gentlemen of all ages…start your engines for the GamePad favourite Mario Kart tournament run by MonHun Offline! Be the fastest to race around the Mushroom Kingdom for a chance to win a framed mayamada artwork print.
Time trial from 1pm – 5pm
NGI EVENTS
Bring your best martial arts moves and combos (virtually of course) on the latest in the Tekken series and win a brand new mayamada Samurai snapback. NGI Events will also be running tournaments on BlazBlue: Cross Battle Tag.
Tournament start time: 1pm
SUPER MARIO MAKER 2
Get creative as you build and compete on Super Mario Maker 2 levels created for GamePad! The MonHun team will be on hand to give you this event’s theme…the rest is up to you! We’ll be given Nintendo stickers and badges for the best levels made on the day.
Level challenge from 12.30pm
SONIC & MARIO OLYMPICS
With the Olympics heading to Tokyo, we’ll be celebrating in the most GamePad way possible! We’ll be running activities on Mario and Sonic at the Olympics at the winter and summer GamePad events. Check in on the day to find out which sports you will be competing on. All winners on the day will get free entry to the summer GamePad event!

MELANIN GAMERS
We’re welcoming Melanin Gamers back to GamePad! They’re a fantastic community promoting diversity and inclusivity in the video games industry. They be getting in the fighting game spirt with Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (2pm) and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite (3pm). They’ll be providing some prizes for the winners and great sportsmen/sportswomen of the day!
Tournament start time: 2pm & 3pm
JUST DANCE 2020
It’s a Just Dance Off!! If you’re feeling more musically inclined, why not boogie your way through the day with the Just Dance 2020 competition? Dance your way through all sorts of funky routines, but only one can be crown the GamePad Dance Champion and win free entry to our summer event to defend your title!
